History
The ride first opened in 1925. The ride was refurbished in 1959.[1] On April 1, 2021, it was announced that Tumble Bug would not operate that year. The park stated that the ride needed extensive repairs, and that it would be stored with the intention of reopening it in 2022.[2] However, on May 22, 2021, the park stated that it was unable to make the necessary repairs to Tumble Bug and that the ride would never reopen.[3]
