Alan Schilke is an American engineer and roller coaster designer, known for his innovative works on various rides worldwide. Throughout his career, he has designed over 41 attractions, with some of his most notable being X² at Six Flags Magic Mountain,[1] for its unique 4th Dimension style, and various others amongst multiple Manufacturers.
History
In 1994, Alan Schilke was hired as a Director of Engineering for the ride design department of Arrow Dynamics, and stayed with the company until their bankruptcy in 2002.
In 2003, he was hired by S&S Power, Inc. as a structural engineer and designer until 2010. In 2005, during his time with the company, he co-founded Ride Centerline, an amusement design firm.
