Alpamare Scarborough is a water park located in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, England, UK. The park opened on 30 July 2016 with all slides manufactured by ProSlide.[1][2]
History
In October 2023 the park announced a temporary closure until Spring 2024.[3] A few weeks later the parks original owners, Benchmark Leisure Ltd, fell into administration and the site was taken over by North Yorkshire Council.[4][5]
In April 2024 the council announced they were looking for a new operator to the site in the hope to have the park reopen before the summer.[6]
In May 2024 Flamingo Land were announced as the new operator.[7]
In June 2024 the park announced that it would look to reopen by the end of July.[8] The park reopened on 24 July 2024.[9]
