Alpine Slide was a twin bobsled alpine coaster located at the Boreal ski resort in California, USA.
History
It opened on June 30, 1979. The slide track was made from concrete.[1] The slide was owned and operated by John Prince of Salt Lake City, Utah.[2]
In 1987, it was noted that the Utah-based company operating the slide was bankrupt and thus the slide would not open that year.[3] A 1989 article reports that the Alpine Slide had been removed. Damage to the ride over the winter had led to one of the two tracks being closed. Ridership subsequently fell as racing was no longer possible.[4]
