Alpine Slide is a twin bobsled alpine coaster located at the Bromley ski resort in Vermont, USA.[1]
History
Alpine Slide was manufactured in North America in collaboration with German firm Mannesmann Demag Fördertechnik.[2] The Bromley ski resort formed Alpine Slide Corp. to distribute more alpine slides in the United States on behalf of Demag.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on June 27, 1976. It opened to the public the following weekend.[3][4][5]
Each slide is 4,060 feet long.[4] The ride was initially built with two slides. A third was added later.
