Black Witch was a steel roller coaster located at Magic Harbor in South Carolina, USA.
On April 3, 1983 a 13-year-old girl was killed while riding the coaster. It was speculated that she could have left the car while riding the coaster and struck her head on part of the support structure. The coaster was not believed to have malfunctioned.[1]
Black Witch reopened later in the month. Reports stated that the brake system had been replaced and two hills near the end of the ride had been removed.[3]
