Bobs was a wooden roller coaster previously located at Riverview Park in Chicago, Illinois, USA.

History

The ride opened in 1924.

The ride closed with the park in 1967.[1]

After the park closed, all of the roller coaster trains - including Bobs' - were offered for $100,000 each.[1] After there were no bidders, the trains were sold with the trains from Pippin and Fireball to Adventureland in Addison, Illinois, USA for $6,000.[1]

The trains were put on display at Adventureland, alongside trains from Pippin and Fireball.[1] All trains were sold to a private collector for $500 in 1969 after Adventureland's owner passed.[1] The new owner first stored them in Momence, Illinois, USA, adjacent to the Kankakee River. They were later moved to Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin, USA. Although the Pippin and Fireball trains were moved back to Momence in 1971, the Bobs trains remained.[1]
