CA Sega Joypolis Ltd. (Japanese: CAセガジョイポリス株式会社) is a company that operates as a subsidiary of the Hong Kong-based CA Cultural Technology Group, and is headquartered in Higashioi, Shinagawa City, Tokyo, Japan. The company owns the Joypolis theme park brand and licenses properties and branding from it's former parent Sega.
History
Sega Live Creation Co, Ltd. (Japanese: 株式会社セガ・ライブクリエイション) was formed by Sega Sammy Holdings on 1 April 2015 as a spin-off of Sega Corporation's theme park operations. The move was mainly in part of restructuring at Sega.
In November 2016, Sega Sammy Holdings announced that they would sell a 85.1% majority stake and operations in the business to China Animations with the deal to close in January 2017.[1] Afterwards, the company became a subsidiary of China Animations and was renamed CA Sega Joypolis, continuing to license the Sega brand and their IPs. Sega Sammy Holdings retains a 14.9% stake in the business.

Other Facilities
CA Sega Joypolis also operates the Joypolis Sports complex in Sendai, Tōhoku, Japan. The company formerly operated the Orbi nature attractions in Yokohama and Osaka (In a joint-venture with BBC Earth) but after the sale of the company the management for Orbi reverted to Sega Sammy Holdings.
