Chaos Pendle is a Booster product produced by Austrian manufacturer Funtime. The ride consists of a large support holding a smaller rotating main arm with another rotating arm attached to it that holds two four-person gondolas. These gondolas can freely rotate like on a normal Booster ride. The ride fits on one trailer.[1][2]
Later, Funtime started producing an updated version with two eight-person gondolas (though it can be reduced to just one). This product comes in permanent and transportable versions. The transportable version fits on four trailers.[3]
Production
The first and only original Chaos Pendle was produced for German showmen Münch & Eckl in 2002, titled Adrenalin Pur. This unit was custom made to include a three-pronged second arm, increasing the capacity from eight riders to 12. No other original Chaos Pendle units were made and it's unknown if Funtime still offers them for sale.
In 2012, Funtime introduced a new version of the Chaos Pendle. This new version has gondolas that hold eight people each instead of four, and more decorative arms. It also comes with the option to be built with only one gondola. Funtime has so far produced three of these new Chaos Pendles, the first being Black Mamba at Prater.
