Crazy Cobra is a steel launched roller coaster located at Discoveryland in Dalian, Liaoning, China. Built by Premier Rides, Crazy Cobra uses a LIM launching system instead of a traditional lift hill to propel the train.

History

When Crazy Cobra originally opened on March 21, 1998, it was originally called Mad Cobra at Suzuka Circuit in Japan. This was two years after the world's first LIM-launched coasters, Flight of Fear opened at Kings Island and a clone of that coaster opened at Kings Dominion.

Mad Cobra closed in September 2003 and moved to Discoveryland, where it was renamed Crazy Cobra. It opened on July 16, 2006. The coaster was closed from 2016 to 2018.
