Crystal Coaster is a twin bobsled alpine coaster located at the Crystal Mountain resort in Thompsonville, Michigan, USA.
History
Crystal Coaster opened as a twin-tracked alpine coaster in 2008.[1][2]
At one point, the second track was removed. In 2024, Crystal Coaster reopened as a twin-tracked ride.[3]
Design
Crystal Coaster was manufactured by Alpine Slide, LLC and uses their "Augie" sleds. Each track is 1,600 feet long and made from fibreglass. The track does not form a complete loop. The station is located at the highest point of the ride and is accessed via a chairlift. Riders disembark at the lowest point.[3][4]
