Cyclone was a wooden roller coaster previously located at Palisades Amusement Park in Cliffside Park, New Jersey, USA. The ride opened in 1927 and closed in 1934 and was one of the three Giant Cyclone Safety Coasters, which were infamous for being some of the most extreme, vicious, and terrifying coasters ever built. The other two Giant Cyclone Safety Coasters were Lightning at Revere Beach in Suffolk, Massachusetts, USA and Cyclone at Crystal Beach Park in Crystal Beach, Ontario, Canada.
History
In March 1934, an advert in The Record noted that the ride, as well as Bug, were for sale.[1]
