Dragon's Fury is a steel spinning roller coaster located at Chessington World of Adventures in Chessington, Greater London, England, UK. It is located in the "Land Of The Dragons" area of the park.
History
Dragon's Fury opened on 27 March 2004.[1]
The attraction was closed in 2015 following an accident on The Smiler at Alton Towers so that Merlin could install new safety protocols.[2]
Design
Layout
The car leaves the station and makes it up the first 15.5 metre chain lift hill before entering a curved drop under a bridge and transitioning into the horseshoe element, for the rest of the ride it makes its way around the "Land Of The Dragons" area and includes multiple hills, helices and a second lift hill.
Trains
Single cars. Riders are arranged 2 across in 2 rows, for a total of 4 riders per car. Each row sits back-to-back and faces away from each other.
