Monkey Swinger is a Waveswinger built by German manufacturer Zierer currently located at Chessington World of Adventures in Chessington, Greater London, England, UK.
History
The ride first opened as part of the new Beanoland section of the park in 2000 under the name of Billy's Whizzer.[1] After 2009, Beanoland was rethemed to Wild Asia with Billy's Whizzer being rethemed to Monkey Swinger in 2010.
In February 2025, Chessington World of Adventures announced that Wild Asia would not be open throughout the 2025 season.[2] This was to start plans for retheming the area into a brand new Minecraft themed area in 2027.[3]
During May 2025, Monkey Swinger was dismantled and removed from Wild Asia, with pieces spotted in the entrance car park.[4]
