Dragon's Run is a steel roller coaster located at Dragon Park in Ha Long, Quang Ninh, Vietnam. The ride was formerly located at Freestyle Music Park in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina under the names of Led Zeppelin: The Ride and Time Machine.
History
Dragon's Run originally opened on 15 April 2008 at Hard Rock Park in South Carolina under the name of Led Zeppelin: The Ride. As the name implies, the ride was themed around the rock band Led Zeppelin and featured onboard audio which played a variety of Led Zeppelin songs. A year later, the ride was renamed Time Machine and rethemed to the music of various different decades, from the 1960s through to the 1990s. This retheme coincided with the rename of Hard Rock Park to Freestyle Music Park. After Freestyle Music Park closed at the end of the 2009 season due to bankruptcy, the ride remained standing but not operating until August 2014, when the ride was shipped to its present location at Dragon Park in Vietnam. Construction on the ride began in Spring 2015.[1] It opened on 25 January 2017.
