Dragon Mountain is an Arrow Dynamics steel roller coaster located at MarineLand in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. The ride opened as the tallest roller coaster in the world at 186 feet. It was the last roller coaster to hold this record and include inversions.

Design[edit | edit source]

Dragon Mountain begins in a cave-themed station. Its lift hill follows the terrain up to the top of the mountain, while the rest of the ride drops back down. It is the only roller coaster with a bowtie element.

The height of this roller coaster has been listed as 186 feet, which would make Dragon Mountain the world's tallest roller coaster until the opening of Magnum XL-200 in 1989. However this is thought to be a mistake. Possible 186 feet is actually the change in elevation.
