Dragon Mountain is an Arrow Dynamics steel roller coaster located at MarineLand in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. The ride opened as the tallest roller coaster in the world at 186 feet, although the lift hill is 176 feet tall and the drop is 80 feet tall. It was the last roller coaster to hold this record and include inversions.
Design[edit | edit source]
Dragon Mountain begins in a cave-themed station. Its chain lift hill follows the terrain up to the top of the mountain, while the rest of the ride drops back down several hills. It is the only roller coaster with a bowtie element.
