HELP |
Eagle Fortress was a steel suspended roller coaster located at Everland in Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. It opened on September 8, 1992 and closed in January 2009.
History
Eagle Fortress opened on September 8, 1992.
Arrow Dynamics closed in 2002 after filing for bankruptcy, which made getting spare parts more challenging. Tamer suspended coasters are easy to maintain including Iron Dragon at Cedar Point, while intense suspended coasters such as Eagle Fortress add more stress to the track. Around the time T Express opened, the coaster became far too difficult and expensive to fix. Eagle Fortress closed in January 2009, as well as Big Bad Wolf at Busch Gardens Williamsburg that same year. It was demolished in 2015 for a plum blossom walk-through garden.
