Ferrari World is a Ferrari-themed amusement park on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Opened in 2010, the park is situated under a 2,200,000 square foot roof making it the largest indoor amusement park in the world. It is home to Formula Rossa, the world's fastest roller coaster.
History
The park was planned to open on 27 October 2010, however this was postponed due to the death of the ruler of Ras al Khaymah, one of the seven members of the United Arab Emirates.[1] Ferrari World officially opened on 4 November.
