FirleFranz is a steel launched roller coaster currently located at Bayern Park in Reisbach, Bavaria, Germany.

Design

Elements

The ride starts off by launching riders backwards onto the Spiral Rollback. The train then loses momentum and falls back into the station, now launching forwards into the layout. A switch track then switches over, allowing the train to enter the station from the direction it came in once it completes the layout. This is where riders scale the Spiral Rollback again, this time forwards, before falling back and doing the entire layout backwards.

This trick originally debuted on Panic Coaster - Back!? Daaan!! in 2019. Panic Coaster did lack the rollback, the train would come to a standstill in the station before being relaunched.

Colour scheme

Purple track and beige supports.

Trains

Single train with 10 cars. In each car, riders are arranged 2 across in a single row, for a total of 20 riders per train. The the train is designed to resemble a soapbox, with the front resembling a bull made out of scrap components. This links back to the name of the coaster, with Firlefanz being German for 'a silly decoration'. Fanz is spelled like Franz in the ride's name to make it a play on words; the park mascot is named Franz-Xaver.
