Gerstlauer is an amusement ride manufacturer located in Münsterhausen, Germany.[1]

History

Gerstlauer was founded as "Gerstlauer Elektro GmbH" in 1982 by Hubert Gerstlauer, a former senior manager at Schwarzkopf. The company designed and installed electrical and pneumatic systems on roller coasters, including those built by Schwarzkopf, BHS and Zierer. In 1992, Gerstlauer purchased Schwarzkopf's former production facilities.[2][3] The first roller coaster built by Gerstlauer opened in 1998.

Roller coaster trains

Gerstlauer has manufactured a few trains for coasters not manufactured by themselves. The list is sorted in order of train introduction. Raging Wolf Bobs and Son of Beast also featured Gerstlauer trains, but these where taken from other coasters and thus not manufactured for the rides, hence them missing from this table.
