Parc Astérix is a theme park in Plailly, Hauts-de-France, France based on the Astérix book series and stories by Albert Uderzo and Réne Goscinny. Parc Astérix has rides themed around historic cultures like Ancient Greeks and the Romans. Opened in 1989, it is second busiest theme park in the country, after Disneyland Paris, with 2.4 million guests visiting the park in 2019.[1]

Parc Astérix is situated approximately 35 km (22 miles) north of Paris and 32 km (20 miles) from Disneyland Paris in Plailly, Hauts-de-France, France.
