Tonnerre 2 Zeus is a wooden roller coaster located at Parc Astérix in Plailly, Hauts-de-France, France. It opened in 1997 and was manufactured by Custom Coasters International, Inc.
History
Tonnerre de Zeus opened in 1997.
The ride was refurbished between 2019 and 2021. When it opened in 2022, it was renamed to Tonnerre 2 Zeus. The original trains from Philadelphia Toboggan Coasters were replaced by Timberliner trains from The Gravity Group, which included backward-facing seats in the last row.
The backward rows were replaced with two forward-facing rows in March 2024.[1]

Etymology
Tonnerre de Zeus is French for Thunder of Zeus.
