Flashback is a steel shuttle roller coaster located at Six Flags Great Escape in Queensbury, New York, USA.

History

The ride officially opened to the general public on May 23, 1997.

From opening until 2015, it was called Boomerang Coast to Coaster. For the 2016 season, it was renamed Flashback.

Design

Elements

The coaster is a standard Boomerang model. The train is pulled up by a catch car behind the station. The train is then released, letting it go through the 3 inversions. The train is then caught on the second spike and release once again. The train then goes through the 3 inversions again backwards.

Trains

7 cars per train. Riders are arranged 2 across in 2 rows for a total of 28 riders per train.
