Fun in the Sun is a steel semi-spinning hamster wheel kiddie roller coaster located at The Funplex Myrtle Beach in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, USA.
History
The coaster opened with the park on May 21, 2021.[1][2]
On September 15, 2024 the park finished its season, and on October 30, 2024, the park was announced to have permanently closed.[3][4]
Design
Trains
Single train. There are four regular spinning cars which seat two riders in two rows facing back-to-back. The front car is a "Hamster Wheel" car which seats two riders facing each-other. As the train moves, this car "rolls", inverting its riders multiple times.
