Giant Wheel was a Ferris Wheel built by German manufacturer Schwarzkopf that was previously located at Gillian's Wonderland Pier in Ocean City, New Jersey, USA.
History
The ride opened at Circus World in Haines City, Florida, USA in 1983 and was known as Jumbo.[1] The ride was renamed Big Wheel when the park was rebranded as Boardwalk and Baseball.[2] It was replaced in 1989 with another Ferris Wheel, Giant Wheel. It was then relocated to Gillian's Wonderland Pier, where it operated through 2000.
Following the ride's removal at Gillian's Wonderland Pier, it was reportedly shipped to a park in northern Africa.[3]
