History

The ride originally opened with the park as Le Grand Splatch on 30 April 1989.

In late 2023 the park announced the ride was going to be rethemed as La Revanche des Pirates - Grand Splatch for its 35th Anniversary.[1]

The rethemed ride reopened on 30 March 2024.[2]

Design

Story

The story of the ride centers around the group of pirates from the Astérix comics, as they attempt to get back at the Gaulishs.

During the ride, guests will encounter and survive a series of ill-designed booby-trap while the pirates fail to execute their plans.
