Mad Bazooka is a product from Sega, and produced through their AM4 division. The ride is a modified Bumper Cars attraction that pits two teams against each other in a shoot-em-up. The cars can run over several foam balls, up to eight per second, and shoot them at their opponents. Guests gain a scorecard as souvenir after the ride finishes.
Completed attractions
Mad Bazooka debuted as one of three newly-produced in-house attractions at Yokohama Joypolis (later Joypolis H. Factory) in July 1994. Five installments have been built altogether - three in Japan, and one each in the United Kingdom and Australia.
The last version of the attraction to remain in operation after 2001 was the Yokkaichi Galbo instalment which was relocated to Kurashiki Tivoli Park and renamed as "Hell Fighter", closing at the end of December 2008 with the park itself.
