About

Mickey's House opened with the then-named Mickey's Birthdayland in June 1988, which itself to concise with the "Mickey - 60 Years With You" promotion that celebrated Mickey Mouse's 60th Birthday. The attraction allowed guests to tour Mickey's house and its rooms, albeit the rooms mostly being roped off; preventing guests from climbing onto the furniture and damaging it. The experience ended in Mickey's garden, which led to a nearby tent-facade known as the Screening Room which featured various Disney cartoons playing. The attraction remained unchanged when the land became Mickey's Starland in 1990.

In 1996, the attraction was given a refresh to make way for the Mickey's Toontown Fair refurbishment, being renamed as Mickey's Country House. The house was now depicted as a vacation home, with a more cartoon-y interior to be similar to its Californian counterpart, however rooms aside from the garage remained roped off. The Screening Room was renamed the Judge's Tent and became a meet-and-greet for Mickey Mouse after his previous meet-and-greet attraction in the land - Mickey's Hollywood Theater, was demolished to make way for Minnie's Country House.

The attraction remained unchanged over the years and eventually closed with the rest of Mickey's Toontown Fair on February 11, 2011, to make way for the New Fantasyland expansion. The building was demolished and its footprint became a raised seating area within the Storybook Circus area. The Judge's Tent was also demolished to make way for an indoor seating area.
