History

Mr. Toad's Wild Ride opened with Magic Kingdom on October 1, 1971.^[1] The ride closed on September 7, 1998.^[2]

Theme

Mr. Toad's Wild Ride was located in the Fantasyland area of the Magic Kingdom and was based on the character Mr. Toad from Kenneth Grahame's novel Wind in the WIllows.^[1]
