Disney's Hollywood Studios (formerly Disney MGM Studios) is a theme park in Walt Disney World in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, USA. The park opened on May 1, 1989.
History
When the park first opened in 1989, it was originally known as Disney MGM Studios. For the 2008 season, it was renamed Disney's Hollywood Studios.[1]
Disney MGM Studios and the rest of the Walt Disney World Parks were closed on September 11, 2001 following the terrorist attacks.[2]
