Disneyland Park is the first theme park at the Disneyland Paris resort in Marne la Vallée, Île-de-France, France. The second theme park of the resort being Walt Disney Studios Park.
When the park first opened on 12 April 1992, it was known as Euro Disney. It initially became a major financial failure from the start.[1] In the fall of 1994, it was renamed Disneyland Paris.[2]
In June 2017, The Walt Disney Company gained full ownership of the park.
