Ala Delta is a steel inverted roller coaster located at Quiqueland in Mexquitic de Carmona, San Luis Potosi, Mexico.[1]

History

The coaster opened in 2009.[1]

Sometime before October 2012, the first drop was modified. It originally turned right before turning left toward the second chain lift, this was changed to have it immediately turn left.[2][3][4]

By 2014, the coaster was left standing but not operating due to a blown lift motor.[5][6]

Quiqueland closed its amusement park section in 2020, and as of 2024, Ala Delta is still standing.[7][8][9]

Design

Elements

Ala Delta is believed to be built in-house.

There is a climbing wall located on the side of the coaster's first lift hill.[6]

Trains

The coaster's car is designed to look like a hang glider.

Single car. Riders are arranged 2 across in a single row, for a total of 2 riders per car.
