Neo Geo World Tsukuba
More actions
Neo Geo World Tsukuba (Japanese: ネオジオワールドつくば) was an indoor theme park in Japan.
Opening on 23 November 1995, Neo Geo World Tsukuba was SNK's answer to the success of Sega's Joypolis amusement parks. It was situated on two floors and contained attractions outsourced from several companies, and many arcade machines.[1][2]
The park closed at the end of May 2001 following SNK's bankruptcy and the failure of its sister park Neo Geo World Tokyo Bayside. After closure, the space became home to a large game center called Game Panic Tsukuba (Japanese: ゲームパニックつくば).[3]
