Octotron was a Looper/Rock 'n' Roll built by US manufacturer Chance Rides and designed by US company US Thrill Rides previously located at Belmont Park in San Diego, California, USA.
History
Octotron was set to open in December 2010.[1] As of December 18, it remained unopen.[2]
The ride was re-scheduled to open on January 16, 2011 after a series of delays.[3][4]
The ride reportedly closed by the end of 2023 and remained standing but not operating. It was removed from the park's website between July and December 2024.[5][6] The attraction was fully removed before March 2024 and was replaced with Tiki Typhoon.
