Over the Top was a short-lived junior top spin at Knoebels in Pennsylvania, USA.
History
The ride and name was revealed in January 2017. It was the second Wave Rider produced by SBF Visa Group and was chosen as the Knoebels family were impressed by the prototype at the 2016 IAAPA Expo in Orlando, Florida, USA. Dick Knoebel also said that it caught their attention as it was somewhat similar to the Flying Cages which operated from 1964 to the 1980s.[1]
The ride was delivered 45 days late and did not open in 2017 due to technical issues with the ride program.[2] It was subsequently sent back to Italy for modifications and opened in 2018. It was ultimately removed at the end of the season and replaced with another ride from SBF Visa, Tumbling Timbers.[3]
