Pirate Ship is an SDC Pirate Ship located at Knowsley Safari Park in Prescot, Merseyside, England, UK. It opened at the park for the 2000 season.^[1] In 2008 the ride was refurbished by Amusement Technical.^[2]

History

The ride was originally built in 1988 to operate in Italy. In 1990 the ride (known then as Pirat) was imported to the UK and operated by travelling showman Baron Coupland.^[3] It was sold to Knowsley Safari Park in 2000.
