Roela's Carousel is a Carousel built by USA manufacturer Spillman Engineering operated by Roela Olson located at Pioneer Park in Fairbanks, Alaska, USA.[1][2]
History
All that is known about the ride's early history is that it was manufactured in the 1930s, and that it was located in or traveled out of Kirkwood, Illinois, from some point until May 1989.[1][3]
In May 1989, the ride was transported to Fairbanks, Alaska's Golden Heart Plaza for the Fairbanks North Star Borough's 20th anniversary. After the celebrations were finished, it was relocated to Pioneer Park, where it remains to this day.[3]
It has been operated by Roela Olson since 2006.[3]
