Sky Train (Traditional Chinese: 天龍過山車) is an indoor steel powered roller coaster currently standing but not operating at Sky Fantasia in Hong Kong, China. The ride was built by Zamperla. It is located on the nineth floor of the Dragon Centre shopping mall. It is the only indoor roller coaster in Hong Kong.[1]
History
Sky Train opened in 1994 and closed in 2003, and served more than two million riders. Due to its closure being undisclosed and sudden, there are numerous theories on the closure, with the most popular belief being haunted. In 2016, it was finally revealed that it is closed due to safety concerns with similar indoor roller coaster in the United States. Since then, the ride had been running once per week empty for maintenance and government regulation purposes.[1][2]
