Sonic Ghost Shooting (Japanese: ソニック ゴーストシューティング) was a Tracked Dark Ride designed by Sega formerly located at Tokyo Joypolis in Odaiba, Tokyo, Japan. It was based on the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise.

It opened on 27 July 2013 replacing longtime attraction Sky Cruising [1] and closed on 15 May 2016.[2] It was replaced with a Zero Latency VR venue.

Ride

Based on the 2001 video game Sonic Adventure 2, Sonic Ghost Shooting was a shooting dark ride with projection elements, more or less similar to the Ghost Hunters product. Guests rode on ride vehicles referred to as "Ghost Shooters", with the aim of the game to shoot as many projected ghosts as possible that face the buildings.[3]
