Great Source On The Park:
Here is a great source I found years ago about Frontierland on Joyland Books, a excellent historic UK theme park site:

Figure Eight Amusement Park
The Leeds Mercury on Thursday 24 March 1938 reads "The old figure eight amusement park facing the promenade has been demolished and a new pleasure park is being constructed on the site under the supervision of a Coney Island engineer. Over £150,000 worth of “ thrillers ” will Include Cyclone,” new form of ride, which is being dismantled on the site of the Paris Exhibition and reerected here. An official of the Corporation told me, ** We are Inundated with inquiries. I have never known so many at this time of the year.” https://www.britishnewspaperarchive.co.uk/viewer/bl/0000748/19380324/174/0006 Lachlan (Talk | contribs) 17:09, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
Closing dates
During the park's final year as a travelling fair, did some original rides operate? Some rides such as Sky Ride as listed as closed in 2000 while others are listed as closed in 1999. MK700 Geek (talk) 12:32, 5 April 2025 (UTC)
