This might actually be a different ride altogether than Treasure Panic
So, the only image of Ghost Pirates that exists on the internet is dated to June 17, 2000 on a Japanese blogging site.[1]
Then I found this news report about Tokyo Joypolis' fourth anniversary and it lists down Treasure Panic, which is what was claimed to have been relocated to Sega World Festival House on the Sega Retro website. [2]
In all honesty, Ghost Pirates may have been a relocated Ghost Hunters installment from another Sega-owned facility or somewhere else. It was still listed on the Tokyo Joypolis website as late as August 2000[3] and was removed once the park closed for remodeling.

- I think it would be best, if the sources aren't clear, to have these as two separate articles. Usually Sega Retro is pretty good - I've been looking at their sources and it seems legit. But we don't need to link these two rides up, if we're unsure. Lachlan (Talk | contribs) 23:44, 27 April 2024 (UTC)
- Looking at Sega World again, I can't see which reference supports this ride opening at all - apart from that blog article they've linked to Lachlan (Talk | contribs) 18:05, 1 May 2024 (UTC)
- I've gone ahead and created Treasure Panic. Lachlan (Talk | contribs) 18:02, 1 May 2024 (UTC)
