I mailed the park sometime earlier, inquiring about their rides. They send me a mail back, and this is what it read (translated from german);

Thank you for your inquiry about our rides.

The APEMH (Association of Parents of Intellectually Impaired Children) took over Bettemburger Parc as a working structure at the end of 1997. Unfortunately, we only have incomplete details for the period before that.

1. The mini train opened in 1969. Unfortunately, I cannot tell you which company built the narrow-gauge railway, the machines were definitely from the “Schwingel” company. Since we gradually ran out of replacement pieces, we built a completely new system with the company Metallbau Emmeln in 2021.

2. We have even less information about the ponies. However, attached is an article which says that this system was put into operation in 1978, company unknown. The company Metallbau Emmeln, together with our team of technicians, is currently taking care of the maintenance of the system. In any case, they continue to build exactly the same systems.
