I saw your message on the other page @SillySquirrellllll about whether we should have lowercase names like "ring racer". Although this doesn't answer your question, looking at the logo you will see that it is actually uppercase. So this article ought to be renamed "Ring Racer". - Okay, but within the article itself it says "ring°racer", and the capital R could be merely a stylistic choice as it is capitalized at the end of the name as well ("Ring°RaceR"). SillySquirrellllll (talk) 20:33, 5 October 2024 (UTC)
- And the I appears to be capitalized as well. SillySquirrellllll (talk) 20:34, 5 October 2024 (UTC)
- Hmm, I think the "I" may be more stylistic (as in, they've dropped the dot). But that last "R" is definitely a capital. So should we name it "Ring RaceR"? I don't think I've ever seen it like that. I may try do some more digging to see where the name was written and what format they used. May be best just to use plain old "Ring Raced" when in doubt... - Oops just scrolled up and realised you already saw that. I'm not sure where the lowercase "ring racer" came from with the circle in it - I think it may have be been copied from RCDB. Lachlan (Talk | contribs) 23:15, 5 October 2024 (UTC)
- I tried looking for a mention of it on Nurburgring's website using the Wayback machine, but my internet is trash. SillySquirrellllll (talk) 14:35, 6 October 2024 (UTC)
- It may be the Wayback Machine is running slow. The webpage does indeed refer to it as "ring°racer". Lachlan (Talk | contribs) 14:50, 6 October 2024 (UTC)
- In this discussion, you mentioned the problem of special characters making it difficult to searc for/link to the page. So I propose changing the article title to "ring racer". SillySquirrellllll (talk) 22:51, 6 October 2024 (UTC)
- I'm happy to do that, and then we can update it if required if there is any outcome on the Manual of Style discussion you linked. Lachlan (Talk | contribs) 22:53, 6 October 2024 (UTC)
- With that settled, now please let us know how squirrels ride roller coasters 🐿️ Lachlan (Talk | contribs) 22:53, 6 October 2024 (UTC)
- step 1. wait til everyone leaves the park.
- step 2. squirrels sit on the coaster car.
- step 3. another squirrel duct tapes a long stick into place to act as the lap bar.
- step 4. chew a smaller stick into the shape of the ride operator's key.
- step 5. insert the stick into the keyhole on the control panel then they push the button. SillySquirrellllll (talk) 23:34, 6 October 2024 (UTC)
