Theme paramiter
I think that a theme paramiter would be good to have, especially to stay in line with the coaster infobox CoasterDave (talk) 03:40, 2 December 2024 (UTC)
- Hello @CoasterDave I'm on the fence with this one - agree whatever we do the boxes should be consistent. But I'm not sure the "theme" parameter is a good idea since a theme is subjective and there isn't really a "right answer" for a lot of cases. A ride that is "space" themed to me could be "fantasy" to you, for example. I think it's something better discussed in the article where we can go into details about the theme elements. - Well it mostly came up because of Water Play Structure (Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa), because it is themed to Alice in Wonderland, but there wasn't too much of a reason to bring it up in the article.
- I always took the theme paramiter to be more for spacific cases, ex Tiana's Bayou Adventure (Magic Kingdom) as "Princess & The Frog", but I agree it can be subjective at times. CoasterDave (talk) 19:50, 11 December 2024 (UTC)
- Perhaps we should use it but only for an official branding (like the superman rides). FYI I did create the Category:Infoboxes using the "theme" parameter a while ago which contains all (roller coaster) infoboxes. Lachlan (Talk | contribs) 21:40, 11 December 2024 (UTC)
