Wolkenfänger (English: Cloudcather) is a jets built by German manufacturer aufwind Group currently located at Eis Greissler Manufaktur in Krumbach, Lower Austria, Austria. It opened on 4 August 2024.[1]
Design
The ride is a suspended jets, with riders pulling a rope in the middle of the ride vehicle that lifts the arm with the vehicle up like a regular jets. The maximum height that can be reached here is 4 metres. The ride has a game element, with clouds sometimes glowing next to the ride. Lifting up into these clouds scores points for the rider. There is a screen at the exit of the ride showing which rider scored the most points.[2] It is possible to taste your collected clouds as well with an automatic cotton candy machine at the exit.
Seats
The ride has 12 arms containing a ride vehicle that seats 2 riders each, for a total of 24 riders per cycle.
