Super-Zeppelin was an observation ride.
History
The ride was purchased by showman company Rosenzweig and began operation in 1968. Shortly after, it was replaced by a lighter version and moved to Kölner Tivoli, where it operated from 1971 to 1973. It was acquired by Bembom Brothers and opened at the Ponypark (now called Attractiepark Slagharen) in the Netherlands in 1974. It operated until 1994. Some of the parts were reused for the Sky Tower which opened in 1999.
Design
The ride consisted of a tower with six large zeppelin-shaped cars connected together. During the ride, the zeppelins would move up the tower while rotating round it.
