Zoombezi Bay is a water park in Powell, Ohio, USA. The park accompanies a majority of the site of the former Wyandot Lake amusement and water park.

History

The park's name was cast as part of an online contest, with names such as Kisawa Waves, Katoomba Lagoon, Kahuna Island, Zoombezi Bay and Tahiti Waves being part of it. In July 2007, it was announced that Zoombezi Bay had won the vote.[1]

The park opened on May 26, 2008.[2]
