AS-1 was a Simulator formerly located at Carnival in Bunkyō, Tokyo, Japan.
History
This AS-1 installment was the first to be produced, and as such was a prototype testing unit. It made its public reveal at AOU Expo '91[1]
To celebrate its first anniversary, the Carnival game center was chosen by Sega to hold the first public playtest of the attraction; held from December 1991 to January 1992.[2] After the playtest, the prototype unit was sent back to Sega.
