AS-1 is a Motion Simulator product from Sega, and produced through their AM5 division.

Completed attractions

AS-1 tended to be used as a flagship attraction for larger Sega game centers across the world, with venues such as Sega World Hakkeijima Carnival House, Sega World Bournemouth and Sega VirtuaLand getting the attraction within it's first year. By the end of 1993, it had been reported that over 10 AS-1 cabinets had been installed. AS-1 units were also seen at game centers and venues not affiliated with Sega. By 1994, it began to be added to Galbo and Joypolis venues, and with the larger size some of these locations featured two units but still classified them as a single attraction.

It is not known how many AS-1 installments were constructed by Sega overall.

One of the last major installments was the former Sega World Sydney installment, which had relocated to Luna Park in Melbourne, where it was modified and renamed as "Holodeck", and continued to trade until 2020.

While a majority of AS-1 units have been scrapped, at least two have re-surfaced over the years.
