Sega World Bournemouth

Sega World Bournemouth was an indoor family entertainment center located in Bournemouth, Dorset, UK.
History
It opened on 24 July 1993 in a former furniture shop. An opening ceremony was held a week later, attended by The Big Breakfast host Chris Evans.[1][2][3]
The site became known as "Sega Park" in 1998 to avoid confusion with the larger SegaWorld London. Sega Amusements UK transitioned ownership of the venue among other arcades to Leisure Exchange PLC in 2000.
In 2005, the owners of the site requested planning permission to relocate to a smaller premises nearby, however, this stalled due to objections from the local police and residents based on perceived problems with crime.[4] The Sega branding was removed from the venue in 2006, once Leisure Exchange's licensing rights to use Sega's properties and branding expired, and became branded under the Leisure Exchange name.
While the venue continues to trade under different ownership (under the name of Bowl Central), it is significantly smaller than when it first opened.
